Lady Alchemist Films is an Austin-based production company that specializes in story creation, story development, and the production of film projects. We focus on creating stories written by female-identifying folk that offer the audience a less-explored point of view in the hope of raising awareness and encouraging positive change.

Lady Alchemist’s Creative Director, Chantelle James, is an award-winning writer, producer & director with 15 years of industry experience. Her film projects have screened and won awards at international film festivals including St Kilda Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival, Venice Shorts, Melbourne Indie Film Festival, Prague International Film Festival, Global Impact Film Festival & San Antonio Film Festival.
